E-commerce is the shift away from conducting business in a traditional, brick and mortar location; toward conducting business and sales over the Internet. E-commerce allows companies to conduct speedier business transactions at a much lower cost to wider geography. This course explores concepts in Web construction, marketing, general business management, data mining and business law. This course will allow students to develop analytical skills and foresee changing trends in the area of online business.
